SC05 Escape to Iceland

DAY 1 – Arrival at Keflavik Airport

Welcome to Iceland Individual transfer by Coach from Keflavik Airport to a bus stop near your accommodation in Reykjavik where you spend the night. We provide you with ideas how to explore Iceland’s capital on your own.

In the night, after dinner, we proceed to chase the Northern Light via shared coach. The Northern Lights tour in Iceland takes you to see a spectacular natural phenomenon which happens during the winter months. The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole. Northern Lights in Iceland are visible during the winter months, from late August to April.The locations visited during the Northern Lights tour vary from day to day depending on weather conditions. Because this tour is weather dependent, sightings are not guaranteed. However, if you don‘t see any Northern Lights during this tour, we will repeat the same the next evening.

DAY 2 – Whale Watching

On a Whale Watching tour from Reykjavik with us you will be able to experience some of Iceland’s rich and thriving bird life, as well as visit our large variety of sea-life, including minke whales, humpback whales, harbour porpoises and white-beaked dolphins among other whale species.

DAY 3 – Hop on Hop off City Tour

On this tour, you will get the highlights of the history and culture of Reykjavik, Iceland’s beautiful capital. This three-hour long tour takes you to the most important places of Reykjavik. Visit: Hofdi | Sólfarid | Harpa | Höfnin | Hallgrimskirkja | Bessastadir | Hafnarfjordur.

DAY 4 – Snaefellsness National Park

The Snaefellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island.The area has beautiful samples of some of the natural wonders Iceland is so famous for. This includes black beaches, magnificent mountains, volcanic craters, incredible bird life, magical caves, and of course, the most picturesque glacier of them all, Snaefellsjokull.

DAY 5 – Golden Circle

The Golden Circle is by far our most popular day trip, and for good reason! It’s packed with arguably the country’s most important sites and guided by some of our finest tour experts with extensive knowledge and experience of Iceland’s most revered sites. Visit: Þingvellir | Gullfoss falls | Geysir

DAY 6 – South Iceland Tour

Today we take you along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country’s most scenic regions, as far as Vik, a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs. Visit: Vik | Reynisfjara | Skogafoss | Seljalandsfoss |Glacier lagoon |Diamond beach.

DAY 7 – Blue Lagoon

Soak up in the warm and comfortable Blue Lagoon, one of the wonders of the world, during your visit in Iceland. The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most famous tourist attractions, and considered by many to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as well as an unmissable part of one´s visit to Iceland.

DAY 8 – Transfer to Airport

After breakfast Individual transfer by airport shuttle from your accommodation in Reykjavik to Keflavik Airport.
